How Diaper Duty Works
Delivery and Pick-Up
Doorstep delivery and pick-up happens once a week on Tuesday at a designated spot (usually a front porch or side door). During the week, when a diaper is soiled, simply drop it in the bag we provide.
On Tuesday, count the remaining clean diapers and write the number on the provided tag; attach the tag to the bag of soiled diapers and place it outside. We'll pick up the soiled diapers and drop off fresh ones in a new bag. You keep the unused, clean diapers.

Pricing and Sizing: Diaper Service
There is a flat rate rental fee of $20/week which covers the pick-up of soiled diapers and the delivery of clean ones in the following amounts:
- Preemie (approx. 2-6 pounds): up to 100 diapers
- Newborn (approx. 6-10 pounds): up to 100 diapers
- Infant (approx. 9-14 pounds): up to 80 diapers
- Regular (approx. 13-25 pounds): up to 70 diapers
- Super (approx. 24-35 pounds): up to 50 diapers
- Toddler (approx. 34-45 pounds): up to 50 diapers
Please note that there is a $20 registration fee which includes a pre-birth package of diapers delivered with an in-person diapering demonstration.
Rental Pricing: Wraps and Hampers
- Diaper hampers: $10 one-time rental fee with diaper service; simply return when you leave the service.
- Newborn sized wraps: $20 one-time rental fee (for 5) with diaper service; keep until baby outgrows; you wash.
For Sale: Wraps, Snappies, and Rags
- Small, medium, and large wraps: $7.50/each new; $4/each used.
- Snappies diaper clips: Call for current price.
- Rags (decommissioned diapers): $1/pound.
Discounts, Terms, and Conditions
Multiple and Discount Rates
Service is pro-rated for twins and multiples or if you have more than one child in diapers. The rental fee is $20 for the first child, and $12 for each child after that.
There is a 5% discount for 10-weeks advance payment, and a 10% discount for any payment over six months.
Service Hold and Non-return Policy
What if you forget to put your diapers out on pick-up day? Keep your bag of soiled diapers and return it at the following week's pick-up. Failure to return the bag two weeks consecutively will result in a charge of $15.
Delivery is weekly unless you make other arrangements with us. You can put a hold on your service temporarily if needed. Call us at 607.539.3008 or email, and we will coordinate a pick-up with no delivery and adjust your billing accordingly. We'll be sure to resume delivery when you need it. There is a $7.50 fee for pick-ups with no delivery. Additional weeks on hold have no charge.
Service Changes
You can change your diaper quantity and size at any time. Please call (607.539.3008) or email by Saturday afternoon with change requests to ensure the adjustment is done by the Tuesday delivery. All changes will be credited or charged to your account accordingly.
How Not to Return Your Diapers
Please do not:
- Leave soiled diapers in multiple small/grocery bags.
- Leave garbage in with soiled diapers.
- Leave payment inside a soiled bag.
Billing and Payment
Service costs are based on the weekly diaper rental charges and purchases. Billing is once a month during the first week of the month. Invoices can be sent by email or USPS, so please let us know which method you prefer. Payment is due the following week. We accept checks, made payable to CNY Diaper Duty. We also accept credit cards in our online shop.
A non-refundable late fee of $15 will be applied after four weeks of non-payment. Service will be suspended after eight weeks of non-payment. Customer is liable for all past dues.
Gift Certificates and Baby Registry
You can purchase gift certificates in our online shop. Service registry for baby showers is also available. Call (607.539.3008) or email us to arrange details. Second party billing and payment can also be arranged.
